Urinary problems are yet another major side effect of undergoing prostrate cancer treatment. It is considered to be a long- term side effect as it occurs only after around two to three years of the prostrate cancer treatment.

It may include celiac disease, intestinal obstruction, abdominal spasms and pain, bloating, gas, watery stools, diarrhea, vomiting and constipation.
In addition, the bowel problems may also include rectal bleeding, urgency and scaring, which can develop over a period of time. These problems are usually due to radiation injury caused to the small blood vessels.
